A patio, parking area, courtyard, large driveway, commercial entrance, or other outdoor space can look relatively easy to clean. There are no carpets to protect, furniture can often be moved, and much of the dirt appears to be sitting directly on hard surfaces. It seems as though water, a brush, and enough time should be enough.

The reality becomes different once the work starts. Outdoor Dirt Is Rarely Just Dirt
